A beautiful place, surrounded by the Neretva River, the Adriatic Sea and several small villages, still unknown on the world map for kiteboarding. Daily thermal winds, beautiful beaches, flat and shallow water, delicious wines and food will make kites and non-kitesurfers come back for more! The season runs from May to September, be sure to catch the best Mediterranean winds!

The mouth of the Neretva (the mouth of the river Neretva) is the best Croatian kiteboarding place, ideal for all levels of kitesurfers. The large shallow and flat sea is a real playground for intermediate and advanced riders, although even beginners will appreciate the learning conditions. Our local kiteboarding community "Kiteboarding Komin-Neretva" takes care of the regulations of the kite spot & zone and guest safety, provides a lifeboat, basic insurance for all kiters and students, showers, toilets, storage, live cam, wi-fi, etc.
WIND, WEATHER AND WATER
There are two winds in the area. Wind Maestral comes from the northwest, from left to right across the coast. Super durable, usually brings nice weather. The south wind comes from the SE, blowing from right to left across the coast. The Yugo wind mostly blows in April and October, regularly reaching a strength of five when you can get memorable wave sessions.
Summer temperatures range from 24-35 C / 75-95F. Bring your kites from seven to 12 meters. Water temperatures range from 18 C / 65 F in April and peak at 26 C / 79 F in August/September.
